Founded in 2017 in Queensland, Tofu Cat Litter Australia was born from a passion shared by animal lovers: to create cat litter that honors our feline companions, respects our Australian land, and makes pet parenthood simpler- all with the innovation and heart that defines our country.
Tired of harsh, dusty litters that left cats sneezing and homes lacking freshness, we set out to redefine what pet products could be. Our vision? 100% plant-based formulas that are 99.9% dust-free, gentle on sensitive paws and respiratory systems, and powered by patented technologies like enzyme-activated odor control - all developed, tested, and refined right here in Australia to meet the highest local standards. For years, we've grown alongside a community of Aussie cat lovers who share our belief that pets deserve the very best, and that "Australian-made" isn't just a label - it's a promise of quality. In 2025, we turned that promise into something tangible: opening our very own manufacturing facility in Penrith, New South Wales. This milestone brings our journey full circle, letting us craft our beloved litter entirely on home soil-sourcing premium oats from Australian farms, overseeing every step of production with our dedicated local team, and bringing "Australian innovation" to life through homegrown manufacturing.
